Kanha Village Eco Resort is an admirable Eco friendly wildlife retreat, situated amidst serene and peaceful surroundings in village Boda Chhapri near Khatia / Kisli entrance gate in the buffer zone of Kanha Tiger Reserve, one of the most beautiful forest of the world ,famous for its Tigers, Hard ground Barasinghas, Sal & Bamboo forests and meadows. Keeping in mind the philosophy of sustainable and socially responsible tourism, the property has been developed in ethnic style, with locally available bio degradable materials. The hotel caters to the need of our guest with modern amenities in well furnished luxury cottages and rooms.

The modern facilities at our cottages include attached bath, hot and cold shower, splash pool & an independent sit out. Facilities at our property include swimming pool, TV lounge, library, restaurant (with separate kitchen / cooking facilities for veg. and non-veg. food), games room, massage room and well equipped conference room.

We  employ and follow technique that aid in sustainable use of natural resource to minimize the impact on the fragile ecosystem by using recyclable materials and resources. We have installed solar powered pathway lighting system, CFL bulbs, organic composting, rain water harvesting and recycling of water. We respect local culture & traditions and by employing local youth we give them support.

We recommend a minimum 3 night 4 days stay with 2 safaris in the national park and 2 jungle walks in the buffer. A visit to medicinal plantation conservation area or local villagers home with ethnic dinner and tribal dance are great add on which you will always remember. We can make tailor made packages for our guests who want to visit and enjoy the Sal and Bamboo forests of Kanha National Park.

We have been working to create awareness amongst local people and tourist alike on conservation and environmental issues. It is our endeavor of following responsible tourism principals that we were conferred with Best Eco Tourism Initiative Award. Being only accommodation of its kind in Central India, we are proud of what we are providing. We  will continuously strive to achieve better results keeping in mind ecological concerns. Special attention is paid towards sustainable development of the area and conservation of bio diversity especially Tiger our national animal. 

This is how the resort looked like when we started in 2010. We had only 5 trees at the time and more than 500 saplings were planted with most of them being from Ethnic species found in Kanha Landscape. With time saplings have grown into trees and we cannot take a image like above as non of the cottages / rooms can be seen as in above photograph. Due to using local species bird life at the resort has improved a drastically and recently a Jungle cat chose our property to give birth to its young once which shows we have been able to have perfect Jungle ambiance which we are sure our guests will enjoy.
